Meet DoraBot

DoraBot is your chat agent and she is a core part of the Timedora experience. It is where you can get the most out of using the AI tools.

The chat engine, which we lovingly call "DoraBot", is a smart AI agent that has a bunch of abilities. Using those abilities it will craft any video, audio, image or PDF you want.

Overview

You do not need any technical skills to use Timedora. All you need is to describe what you want, as precisely as possible. Knowing the abilities of Dora Bot, you can tell it your preferences. For example, if you want your video to use stock photos with narration instead of AI generated videos, you can simply mention that in your instructions. You want a male narrator? Just ask for it. Planning on crafting some TikTok videos? Just say you are making the video for TikTok.

Expectations

As an AI agent, unless the instructions are written extremely precisely, Dora Bot may not always get what you want. Fear not, you can always just ask for it. For example, if Dora Bot generated a video of a running clock with a beautiful scenic background that you want to use as your ASMR study guide but you felt that the clock was too small or you want the clock to be at a corner and play a soothing alarm when the time is up, simply ask "can you put the clock in the corner and play a soothing sound as an alarm when the time is up".

Abilities

Here are some of the things Dora Bot can do:

Researching online: Searches the web to get the information needed.

Generating narration: We can generate narration for anything.

Create AI generated videos: We can use state of the art AI video engines like VEO or SORA to create anything you want.

Stock photos and videos: We have a large collection of licensed stock photos and videos covering a wide range of categories and subjects.

AI images: We offer state of the art AI image generation like GPT-Image or Nano Banana 2 to create amazing images.

Avatars: Using AI avatars, you can have a human character speak anything. Choose from a wide variety of characters.

Music: Use AI generated music with custom lyrics or select from a selection of stock music.

Animations: We can create amazing animations to illustrate any concepts.

Graphs: We can create colorful graphs to show any statistics or information.

Diagrams: We can create comprehensive diagrams to highlight a point or concept.

Subtitles: Subtitles can be automatically added when a video is exported.

Putting it all together: Our AI tool will automatically use everything available to put together an amazing video, image, audio or PDF.

Tips and Tricks

Didn't get what you want the first time? You can use "regenerate response" to try again and see if you get better results. You can also edit your prompt if you made a mistake or want something different. As you regenerate or edit, you will see that new versions of your conversation are created, so you don't lose anything. If you like your previous response better, you can always switch back to that version of the conversation by using the Version box on the top right hand corner.

Managing Costs

You have the ability to control how many AI units are used when generating your media. In general, AI generated videos are significantly more expensive than images while images are more expensive than audio.

One way to manage costs is to indicate your preferences in the Preferences page. For example, if you do not want to use AI generated videos at all, you can change the "Preferred Video Generation Method" to "Stock Only". (This is the default if you are a free user).

The costs for video and image can also vary greatly depending on the model you use. You can explore the range of costs by going to the "AI Tools" page to check out the various models and see the cost/performance ratings.

Under "Account Summary" in your profile page, you can see the amount of AI units you have remaining and also a breakdown of your usage of the various AI tools by media type. This helps you figure out what is costing the most AI units and allows you to tweak the model you want to use by default in the preferences page.

Using Tools Manually

For the ultimate control, you can also manually use the AI tools directly. Under the "AI Tools" menu, you can find many of the tools that Dora Bot uses, categorized by the type of media it produces—image, video or audio. You can browse all the models available for image generation, test and compare their relative quality and cost. Some tools are only available under "AI Tools" such as image scaling where you can use it to improve the quality of an existing image you have. However, not every tool is available for manual use. For example, the research tool that Dora Bot uses to search the web is not available for manual use. Also, the ability to automatically combine various media including animations and text into a final video, image, audio or PDF is only available through Dora Bot.

All the media you have ever created are stored in "My resources". You can browse, download and delete them anytime.
