An AI Unit (AIU) is the resource consumed processing a command or task by the AI engine. Every command or task is different depending on its complexity and the output required. Generally, the more complex the task is and the more output is required, the more AI Units will be consumed. Also, the more context the AI engine needs to remember, the more AI Units will be used.
A long article of about 500 words can take anywhere from 1 to 2 AI units.
The service provides access to the state-of-the-art AI Models. Running these AI Models By requiring immense computational resources and licensing costs. To cover these costs, we require users to pay for AI Units, which are used to access and utilize these AI Models. We hope to low the cost of serving these AI Models over time while adding even more powerful AI Models in the future.
AI Units are deducted based on the AI Model used. Each AI Model has a different cost. You can see their relative cost in the AI Tools section. When using the Chat tool, AI Units are also used by the chat agent. You can see the usage breakdown between the different tool types in your profile page.
