Getting started
What is Timedora?
Timedora is an AI-assisted study platform. It helps students collect course material in a Study Pack and turn that knowledge into interactive Study Guides, quizzes, flashcards, matching activities, and educational podcasts.
What is a Study Pack?
A Study Pack is the home for one subject or learning goal. It keeps source materials, generated knowledge, notes, recordings, and Study Tools together so each activity can build from the same context.
Do I need an account?
You can read Timedora’s public product pages without an account. Creating or using Study Packs and Study Tools requires an account. If you open a tool while signed out, Timedora will take you to sign up and return you to the tool afterward.
Can I start for free?
Yes. You can create an account and begin with the free options shown in the product. Some AI generation or premium features may use AI Units or require a paid plan; current pricing and limits are shown before purchase.
Materials and notes
What can I upload?
You can add supported class materials such as notes, slides, PDFs, readings, and other files relevant to your subject. Only upload material you have the right and permission to use.
What does Timedora do with uploaded material?
Timedora processes material to organize Study Pack knowledge and provide the features you request. That knowledge can be used to help create notes and learning activities. AI-generated content can be incomplete or incorrect, so compare important information with your original sources.
Can I edit AI-generated notes and activities?
Yes. Timedora is designed to keep you in control. Depending on the tool, you can edit content, change settings, adjust the focus, and review the result before studying or sharing.
Study Tools
What kinds of quizzes can I make?
Quiz AI supports formats such as single-select, multi-select, true/false, short-answer, fill-in-the-blank, flashcard, and information cards. Settings can include hints, explanations, answer feedback, shuffling, scoring, navigation, attempts, and time limits.
How do FlashCards AI help me review?
FlashCards AI supports basic, reversible, and cloze cards. You can study with spaced repetition, classic flip, written recall, or rapid review and track which cards are due or becoming mastered.
What is a matching activity?
Matching AI turns related concepts into an interactive practice activity. You can match terms to definitions or other connected ideas, choose layouts and direction, add timing or mistake limits, and use hints, audio, images, and different scoring styles where supported.
How does Notes to Podcast AI work?
Choose a Study Pack, then select an episode length, host pair, language, and optional focus. Timedora creates a two-host educational podcast with chapters and a transcript. You can change playback speed and move between chapters while listening.
Lecture recording
Can Timedora record a live lecture?
Yes. The recorder works in the browser and lets you keep notes while capturing audio. On supported devices, you can enable a private live transcription preview. After upload, the saved recording can be processed for the Study Pack.
Do I need permission to record?
Yes. You are responsible for telling everyone who may be recorded and obtaining every consent required by your school, instructor, location, and applicable law before starting. If you do not have permission, do not record.
Is live transcription always available?
Availability depends on the browser and device. Timedora may offer a broadly compatible mode and a faster on-device mode. Live text is a preview and may contain errors; the Study Pack may use a separate transcript generated after upload.
Accuracy, sharing, and privacy
Can I rely on AI-generated study material as the final answer?
No. AI can misunderstand a source, omit context, or produce incorrect information. Review generated material against assigned readings, instructor guidance, and other trusted sources—especially before an exam or submission.
Can I use Timedora for graded work?
Follow your teacher’s, school’s, or institution’s academic-integrity and AI-use rules. Timedora is intended to support learning, not to misrepresent AI-generated work as your own or bypass an assessment.
Can teachers use Timedora?
Yes. Teachers can organize lesson material into Study Packs, create learning activities, review or edit them, and share supported activities with students. School approval and student-data rules may apply.
How is my information handled?
Timedora processes account details, uploaded materials, recordings, transcripts, prompts, generated study content, and usage information to provide and secure the service. Some processing is performed by service providers, including AI, hosting, transcription, analytics, and payment providers. Read the Privacy Policy for details and available choices.
